I’m a high-energy, neurodivergent builder who channels chaos into creation. I lead with honesty, heart, and a relentless drive to help others grow. Twenty years in tech taught me that the best systems serve people, not the other way around. My goal from here on out is to continue pursuing my passion and purpose: helping others get through what they need to, however that looks, and however I can help.

## My Journey
I didn’t take the traditional path. I left high school early due to circumstances beyond my control, and I built my career from the ground up.
I started with a computer repair business at a young age, worked construction and odd jobs with my dad, then found my way into retail, where I became a regional manager in my early twenties. When that chapter ended, I pivoted to healthcare IT, starting at an entry-level position doing printer migrations for half my previous salary. It was the right fight for my career, but even more so, my values and beliefs. The core values of the hospital were never more embodied than by my mentor, Cindy, who took me under her wing the moment she met me and has been an amazing influence on my life!
From there, I grew: PC Tech, Lead Conference Support Analyst, Supervisor. I turned down a managerial title once because I didn’t want to be the trimmed fat in middle management. I wanted to build, not bureaucratize. I was trimmed fat anyway, and it was the best thing that could’ve happened to me!
Now I lead in cybersecurity, build AI-powered ventures, and wear more hats than I can count. The unconventional path gave me something valuable: I understand every level of an organization because I’ve worked at every level.

## Values & Beliefs

**Service over outcomes.** I measure success by whether I showed up with intention and care, not whether I hit the target perfectly.
**Passion and positivity.** Pursue what matters to you, and approach it with energy. Cynicism is easy. Building is hard.
**Control the controllables.** Your perception shapes your reality. What happens between your ears determines how you experience everything else.
**Hurt people hurt people. Healthy people help heal people.** I’ve been on both sides. I choose to heal.

Fair warning: I’m intensely communicative. I process out loud, share ideas freely, and move fast. Most people can’t match that pace, and that’s fine. I don’t expect you to keep up. I just ask that you’re honest and open with me. That’s my baseline.

**Honesty.** I tell the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. You’ll never wonder where you stand with me.
**Heart.** I genuinely care about the people I work with and their growth. Your success is my success.
**Pattern recognition.** I see connections and solutions that others miss. Twenty years of varied experience taught me to think in systems.
**Resilience.** I’ve been through hard things. I know how to keep building when circumstances aren’t ideal.

## Growth Areas
I’m self-aware about where I need structure:
– **I’m scatterbrained without systems.** I rely on tools, processes, and external accountability to stay on track. Give me a framework, and I’ll thrive. Leave me without one, and I’ll build one, but it takes longer.
– **I’m working on balance.** I’m actively improving how I manage energy, stress, and the inputs that affect my well-being. Progress, not perfection.
– **I manage mental health challenges.** I’m neurodivergent, and I navigate that actively. It shapes how I show up, and I’ve built systems to work with it, not against it.

## What Energizes Me
**Helping people.** When I can use my energy for someone else’s benefit, I’m at my best.
**Building teams and systems.** Taking something chaotic and giving it structure. Watching people grow into roles they didn’t think they could fill.
**AI and emerging tech.** It’s my true passion right now. AI “gets” me in a way that traditional tools never did.

## What Drains Me
**Bad actors.** Narcissists, manipulators, grifters, and anyone who takes from others without giving back.
**Abuse of power.** Whether in organizations or institutions, I have no patience for people who weaponize trust or exploit their position.
**Dishonesty.** Just tell me the truth. We can work through almost anything if you’re straight with me.

## How to Work With Me
**Be honest and direct.** That’s really all I need. Don’t hide problems, don’t spin bad news, don’t tell me what you think I want to hear.
**Bring your challenges.** I’m good at untangling messes. I’d rather know about problems early than be surprised later.
**Match my energy if you can.** If you can’t, that’s okay. Just communicate what works for you.

## Leadership Philosophy
I’ve been in the trenches. I’ve been through hard times personally and professionally. I know everyone has their own challenges.
My approach: **Let’s work together to build high-performance teams using systems thinking and clear standards, with operational effectiveness and organizational improvement as the goals.**
I don’t believe in management for management’s sake. I believe in building things that work and helping people become the best version of themselves.

## The Bottom Line
I’m a work in progress who gets a lot done. I lead with honesty because I’ve learned that pretending problems don’t exist helps no one. I believe in growing through challenges, meeting people where they are, and using whatever gifts you have in the service of others.
